It's seemed like a lot of waiting for just one line, but in Bermudian terms this means everything. Bermudian status confers on me (and most importantly, the wife) the ability to live and work on the island known as "The Rock". Twenty miles square of land circled by cerulean blue sea and coral reefs, 300 miles off the coast of the Carolinas.
Sitting at my desk, the strip neon thrumming overhead and a constant stream of interruptions to deal with, the decision's already been made in my head - I'm moving to Bermuda. The only questions are when, and how.
